Jeckswell Machinery Private Limited designs and manufactures jigger dyeing machines for mills, dye houses and processing units across India. Our range spans the Semi-Automatic / Classic Jigger, Automatic / Smart Jigger and Atmospheric Automatic Jigger. Every machine we build is engineered around the three things our customers care about most: consistent shade, low running cost and uptime you can plan around.
We build in stainless steel, we build to your fabric, and we stand behind every machine with spares and service.
Frequency-controlled drives and accurate, linear tension control help you hit shade and repeat it batch after batch — less re-dyeing, less rework.
Low liquor ratio, lower cost
Open-width jigger dyeing runs at a material-to-liquor ratio of 1:3 to 1:5, cutting water, dye, chemical and steam consumption per batch.
Built for uptime
Heavy-duty stainless-steel construction, robust gearboxes and low-maintenance design keep machines running and reduce downtime.
Local manufacturer advantage
Gujarat is home to more than half of India's textile processing machinery manufacturers — our Ahmedabad base means faster spares and genuine customisation.
How a jigger works
Open-Width Dyeing, Done Right
In a jigger, fabric is wound onto one main roller and passed in full open width through a dye trough at the base of the machine, then wound onto the second roller. Each pass is an “end”. Dye penetrates as the fabric travels back and forth under controlled tension and temperature.
Because the cloth runs flat — never in rope form — jigger dyeing is ideal for woven fabrics that crease easily, and it works at a low liquor ratio that saves water, dye and chemicals.
